Type specimen: USNM 66926, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is USGS 17-3; Smith's Ranch, in the vicinity of Cathedral Bluffs, which is in a Ypresian lacustrine - large shale in the Green River Formation of Colorado.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at USGS 17-5; Cathedral Bluffs south of Little Tommies Draw
