Sister taxa: Uvanella ducta, Uvanella lamellata, Uvanella norica, Uvanella obscura, Uvanella tegimentopora
Type specimen: Its type locality is Karwendel reef, Austria, which is in a Ladinian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Wettersteinkalk Formation of Austria
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
