Sister taxa: Strephoneura pallida, Strephoneura robusta, Strephoneura tenebrosa
Type specimen: PIN 117/90, a forewing (distal half of forewing). Its type locality is Soyana (PIN collection 117), which is in a Roadian lagoonal siliciclastic in the Iva-Gora Beds Formation of the Russian Federation.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Soyana (PIN collection 117)
