Type specimen: Mus. f. Naturk. Berlin, K 29, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Railroad cutting at Jägersfreude, which is in a Westphalian C terrestrial siltstone in the Saarbrucken’schen Kohlengebirges Formation of Germany.
