Type specimen: WMf.N P27781/N3182B, an exoskeleton (fragmented right wings, head, legs, posterior three segments missing). Its type locality is Hagen-Vorhalle quarry (Westfalisches Landesmuseum collection), which is in a Marsdenian estuary/bay shale/sandstone in Germany.
