Type specimen: GSM 96032F, a valve (Ventral valve). Its type locality is Nam Loong No. 1 Mine, Kinta Valley, Kampar, which is in a Sakmarian carbonate limestone in the Nam Loong Formation of Malaysia.
Ecology: stationary low-level epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Nam Loong No. 1 Mine, Kinta Valley, Kampar
