Sister taxon: Solemnia togokhudukhensis
Type specimen: PIN 3688/838, a forewing. Its type locality is Houtiyn-Hotgor Depression (outcrop 296/14), which is in a Tithonian lacustrine shale in the Ulaan-Ereg Formation of Mongolia.
