Sister taxon: Bothriagenys flectomendax
Type specimen: OMNH 28119, a mandible (left dentary). Its type locality is OMNH V695, Mussentuchit, which is in a Cenomanian floodplain sandstone in the Cedar Mountain Formation of Utah.
