Type specimen: Musee des Dinosaures BLT 1, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Ban Lam Thoy, which is in an Aptian/Albian terrestrial horizon in the Grès supérieurs Formation of Laos.

Ecology: aquatic omnivore

Distribution: found only at Ban Lam Thoy
