Belongs to Cratonerthra according to M. López Ruf and P. P. Goodwyn 2005
Sister taxon: Cratonerthra corinthiana
Type specimen: SMNS 65416, an exoskeleton (complete body). Its type locality is Crato (SMNS collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Crato (SMNS collection)
