Type specimen: NHM I 12779, a forewing (basal half of forewing). Its type locality is Dinton, Vale of Wardour, Middle Purbeck, which is in a Berriasian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal horizon in the Lulworth Formation of the United Kingdom.

Distribution: found only at Dinton, Vale of Wardour, Middle Purbeck
