Type specimen: CPC 1487, a valve (dorsal valve). Its type locality is Waterford Locality 41, Winderie Station, which is in a Sakmarian coastal siliciclastic in Australia.
Ecology: stationary low-level epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Waterford Locality 41, Winderie Station
