Belongs to Parawalleria according to A. Nel et al. 2009
Sister taxon: Parawalleria mongolica
Type specimen: PIN 3688/281, a forewing (basal half of forewing). Its type locality is Houtiyn-Hotgor Depression (outcrop 296/14), which is in a Tithonian lacustrine shale in the Ulaan-Ereg Formation of Mongolia.
Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at Houtiyn-Hotgor Depression (outcrop 296/14)
