Type specimens:

  • Arguimus khosbajari: PSS 10−15, a mandible (Left dentary fragment). Its type locality is Khovboor (PIN coll. 3101) [SMPE], which is in an Aptian/Albian lacustrine sandstone/claystone in the Dzunbain Formation of Mongolia.
  • Arguitherium cromptoni: PSS 10-31, a mandible (fragment of the right lower jaw with p4-5 and m1). Its type locality is Khovboor (PIN coll. 3101) [SMPE], which is in an Aptian/Albian lacustrine sandstone/claystone in the Dzunbain Formation of Mongolia.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution: found only at Khovboor (PIN coll. 3101) [SMPE]
