Sister taxa: Nevadocoelia grandis, Nevadocoelia traini

Type specimen: Its type locality is IK-3 Ikes Canyon sponge beds, Toquima Range, which is in a Rangerian carbonate limestone in the Antelope Valley Formation of Nevada.

Ecology: stationary intermediate-level epifaunal suspension feeder

Distribution:

• Ordovician of United States (2: Nevada collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
