Type specimen: Westfälischen Museum für Naturkunde in Münster P58091, a set of postcrania (almost complete postcranial skeleton). Its type locality is Lücking clay pit, Sommersell, which is in a Pliensbachian marine claystone in Germany.

Ecology: aquatic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Lücking clay pit, Sommersell
