Belongs to Plesiorobius according to V. N. Makarkin 1994
Sister taxon: Plesiorobius sibiricus
Type specimen: CNC 18446, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Grassy Lake, Medicine Hat (CNC July 1971 collection), which is in a Campanian terrestrial amber in the Foremost Formation of Canada.
