Type specimen: IVPP V 14535.1, an other (a complete dermal denticle). Its type locality is Cx-1-4, Meishan D Section, which is in a Changhsingian deep subtidal ramp limestone/claystone in the Changxing Formation of China.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Cx-1-4, Meishan D Section
