Sister taxa: Zeunerella arborea, Zeunerella prior

Type specimen: B-81, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Ruby River, between Peterson and Morman Creeks, which is in a Whitneyan lacustrine shale in the Renova Formation of Montana.

Ecology: fast-moving ground dwelling grazer-herbivore

Distribution:

• Oligocene of United States (2: Montana collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
