Type specimen: UQ F74154. Its type locality is UQ L4820, Buffel Hill, Cracow Station, which is in a Kungurian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Buffel Formation of Australia.
Ecology: stationary low-level epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at UQ L4820, Buffel Hill, Cracow Station
