Type specimen: UT 96828, a calyx. Its type locality is Maria Island, siltstone member of Darlington Limestone, which is in a Sakmarian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Darlington Formation of Australia.
Ecology: stationary intermediate-level epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Maria Island, siltstone member of Darlington Limestone
