Type specimen: Coll. J. Scheven, an exoskeleton (male imago). Its type locality is Dominican amber (Scheven coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.

Distribution: found only at Dominican amber (Scheven coll)
