Sister taxon: Nupharanassa bulotorum

Type specimen: DPC 2580, a limb element (distal end of right tarsometatarsus). Its type locality is Quarry E (Jebel Qatrani Formation), which is in a Rupelian fluvial sandstone/mudstone in the Jebel Qatrani Formation of Egypt.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Quarry E (Jebel Qatrani Formation)
