  • Luganoia lepidosteoides: BMNH P.19316, a skeleton. Its type locality is San Giorgio, Bender collection, which is in a Fassanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal dolomite/shale in the Besano Formation of Switzerland.
  • Luganoia intermedia: BMNH P19321/19392, a skeleton. Its type locality is Besano, Bender collection, Monte San Giorgio, which is in an Illyrian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal dolomite/shale in the Besano Formation of Italy.
  • Luganoia macrodentata: BMNH P19341, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Besano, Bender collection, Monte San Giorgio, which is in an Illyrian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal dolomite/shale in the Besano Formation of Italy.
