Belongs to Bathyurina according to C. Poulsen 1937
Sister taxa: Jeffersonia bridgei, Jeffersonia exterminata, Jeffersonia granosa, Jeffersonia jenni, Jeffersonia striagena, Jeffersonia timon, Jeffersonia ulrichi, Jeffersonia viator
Type specimen: Its type locality is Mt. Gunvor, which is in an Arenig carbonate limestone in the Cape Weber Formation of Greenland.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at Mt. Gunvor
