Type specimen: Coll Grauvogel & Gall 5901, a forewing (well preserved forewing). Its type locality is Vilsberg, which is in an Aegean delta plain claystone/siltstone in the Grès à Voltzia Formation of France.

Distribution: found only at Vilsberg
