Type specimen: MANCH LL.16092.a-b, a hindwing (incomplete). Its type locality is Durlston Bay, Bed DB175, Swanage (Manchester Mus), which is in a Berriasian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Durlston Formation of the United Kingdom.
