Sister taxa: Karenina borschukewitzi, Karenina breviptera, Karenina cuneiformis, Karenina longicollis
Type specimen: SMNS 65506, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Crato (SMNS collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Crato (SMNS collection)
