Type specimen: CAS 250 (CNC 12920), an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Cedar Lake (CNC 1963 collection), which is in a Campanian terrestrial amber in Canada.

Distribution: found only at Cedar Lake (CNC 1963 collection)
