Type specimen: PVL 6219, a partial skeleton (Almost complete skull found in articulation with the lower jaws and fragmentary postcranial remains). Its type locality is Rio Loro, Aguas Chiquitas, which is in a Paleocene fluvial sandstone in the Río Loro Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Rio Loro, Aguas Chiquitas
