Sister taxon: Pristinochterus ovatus

Type specimen: CNU-HE-LB2006301(302), an exoskeleton (female). Its type locality is Huangbanjigou, Chaomidian Village, CNU 2006 collection, which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China.
