Type specimen: NMM Hydrobienkalk coll 122, a set of appendages (foreleg). Its type locality is Dyckeroff's quarry, Biebrich near Mainz-Castel, which is in an Aquitanian lacustrine lime mudstone in the Hydrobienkalk Formation of Germany.

Ecology: fast-moving ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Dyckeroff's quarry, Biebrich near Mainz-Castel
