Type specimen: Mainz Natural History Museum 73, a hindwing. Its type locality is Dyckeroff's quarry, Biebrich near Mainz-Castel, which is in an Aquitanian lacustrine lime mudstone in the Hydrobienkalk Formation of Germany.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Dyckeroff's quarry, Biebrich near Mainz-Castel
