Sister taxa: Praeratavites daohugou, Praeratavites rasnitsyni, Praeratavites wuhuaensis

Type specimen: NND0668/NIGP 151930, an exoskeleton (female wasp slightly damaged). Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Daohugou (NIGP collection)
