Type specimen: NMMNH P-36611, a forewing (imperfectly preserved forewing). Its type locality is NMMNH L-3433; Carrizo Arroyo, which is in an Asselian pond mudstone in the Bursum Formation of New Mexico.

Distribution: found only at NMMNH L-3433; Carrizo Arroyo
