Type specimen: CNU-E-DHG-2006006, an exoskeleton (subimago). Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2006 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Daohugou (CNU 2006 collection)
