Sister taxon: Khatangaphis rohdendorfi
Type specimen: PIN 3313/8, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Taimyr amber, Romanikha River (PIN collection 3313), which is in a Santonian terrestrial amber in the Kheta Formation of the Russian Federation.
