Type specimen: USNM Brodzinsky/Lopen-Penha 7594, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Dominican amber (USNM Brodzinsky Lopez-Pena coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.

Distribution: found only at Dominican amber (USNM Brodzinsky Lopez-Pena coll)
