Type specimen: IGM-8969, a carapace. Its type locality is IGM-2448, Temalac, which is in a Maastrichtian marine siltstone in the Mexcala Formation of Mexico.

Ecology: semi-infaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at IGM-2448, Temalac
