Sister taxa: Paratrichopteridium costale, Paratrichopteridium efossum
Type specimen: PIN 1256/44, a hindwing. Its type locality is Krasnoyarsk (PIN collection 1256), which is in a Toarcian fluvial horizon in the Makarova Formation of the Russian Federation.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Krasnoyarsk (PIN collection 1256)
