Sister taxon: Vetanthocoris decorus

Type specimen: CNU-HE-LL2006001, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Dawangzhangzi, Lingyuan City (CNU collection), which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large shale in the Yixian Formation of China.
