Sister taxa: Permosyne affinis, Permosyne belmontensis, Permosyne dentata, Permosyne mitchelli, Permosyne rasnitsyni

Type specimen: NMSA 2571, an elytra. Its type locality is Balgowan (Bal 111), which is in a Changhsingian delta plain shale in the Estcourt Formation of South Africa.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Balgowan (Bal 111)
