Belongs to Osmia according to F. E. Zeuner and F. J. Manning 1976

Sister taxa: Osmia antiqua, Osmia bruneri, Osmia gaudiosa, Osmia nigra

Type specimen: BMNH 58779, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Rott (Krantz Bonn coll), which is in a MP 30 lacustrine - large shale in the Rott Formation of Germany.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Rott (Krantz Bonn coll)
