Type specimen: Sydney Museum specimen (cast in BMNH R77), a partial skeleton (imperfect shell with pectoral and limb bones). Its type locality is Flinder's River, which is in a Cretaceous marine horizon in Australia.
Distribution: found only at Flinder's River
