Sister taxa: Zangerlia dzamynchondi, Zangerlia testudinimorpha, Zangerlia ukhaachelys
Type specimen: PIN 4698-1, a partial shell. Its type locality is Dzamin Khond [SMPE] (PIN coll. 4698), which is in a Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Djadokhta Formation of Mongolia.
Ecology: aquatic omnivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of Mongolia (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
