Sister taxa: Cedaria burnetensis, Cedaria eurycheilos, Cedaria prolifica, Cedaria selwyni

Type specimen: USNM 143159a, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Duck Creek [Raiff Limestone], which is in a Dresbachian marine limestone in the Raiff Limestone Formation of Nevada.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Cambrian of Canada (1: Yukon collection), United States (1: Nevada)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
