Type specimen: OU C1616, a shell. Its type locality is Dipton Stream (E44/f8637), Taringatura Hills, which is in a Warepan coastal sandstone in New Zealand.

Distribution:

• Triassic of New Caledonia (5 collections), New Zealand (15)

Total: 20 collections each including a single occurrence
