Sister taxa: Komaspidella laevis, Komaspidella lata, Komaspidella thea, Buttsina ignota
Type specimen: USNM 143195, a pygidium. Its type locality is Duck Creek [Raiff Limestone], which is in a Dresbachian marine limestone in the Raiff Limestone Formation of Nevada.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at Duck Creek [Raiff Limestone]
