Belongs to Morosa according to P. A. Jell and J. M. Adrain 2002

Sister taxa: Morosa bothra, Morosa extensa, Morosa longispina

Type specimen: USNM 141807, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is USGS loc. 1268-CO, Last Chance Range, which is in a Dresbachian marine shale in the Nopah Formation of California.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Cambrian of United States (4: California, Nevada collections)

Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
