Type specimen: IVPP V3107, a partial shell (Posterior 2/3 of the shell). Its type locality is Chishapai, Hokou (IVPP Loc. 63084), which is in a Paleocene terrestrial horizon in the Shanghu Formation of China.
Ecology: aquatic omnivore
Distribution: found only at Chishapai, Hokou (IVPP Loc. 63084)
